Scope and Content

This collection (1969-1987) contains correspondence, reports, surveys, library procedures and flow charts, computer systems information, committee meetings, minutes, and proposals that document the development of automated computer systems and online catalog systems at the Iowa State University Library.

Abstract Eleanor R. Mathews (1937-present) was an instructor, reference librarian, and assistant professor at Iowa State University from 1977 to 1997. Mathews received her B.A. (1958) in biology from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, and her M.A. (1975) in Library Science from the University of Iowa.
