Abstract Wesley Fisher Buchele was born March 18, 1920, in Cedar Vale, Kansas. He received his formal education in agricultural engineering from Kansas State University, the University of Arkansas, and Iowa State University. Buchele was a Professor (1963-1989) of agricultural engineering at Iowa State. Scope and Content

This collection (1929-1985, undated) consists of Wardle’s professional career and includes cases dealing with farm implement safety and accidents, and Wardle's role in consulting or executing depositions concerning these cases. Cases dating to 1965 are included, largely dealing with individuals and major farm related corporations. The collection also includes depositions, safety manuals, handbooks, additional consultations, blueprints, and photographs.

This collection (1953-1978, undated) contains a biographical information and research reports. The reports relate to conservation tillage and chemical and cultural methods of weed management and pest control. The papers also contain a small amount of correspondence with the Pioneer Hi-Bred Corn Company and a presentation about water pollution from crop production.
