The collection (1946-1997) consists of records documenting the 1955 visit of a Russian delegation of agriculturalists to Iowa State University. These materials comprise the bulk of the collection and include memoranda, invitations, and itineraries for farm visits. This collection (1971-1989, undated) contains correspondence, meeting materials, and reports. A large part of the collection includes minutes and related correspondence for meetings of the Agriculture and Natural Resources section of Iowa State University Extension. Also included is a report that documents Olson’s role in the publication of several Landscape Architecture Extension newsletters and his notes for staff meetings of the Department of Landscape Architecture.
