Iowans for Right to Work is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political organization whose purpose is to promote an individual's right to join or not join a union group in order to obtain or keep a job. This collection contains correspondence, records of executive board meetings, planning materials for annual meetings, advertising materials, and published materials by and about right to work groups such as newsletters, news releases, bulletins, pamphlets and newspaper clippings.
Lawrence H. Skromme agricultural machinery literature collection
The collection (1838-1999) contains catalogs, price lists, and other ephemera relating to agricultural implements and machinery. The collection is primarily composed of catalogs and advertisement cards; there are no owners or instruction manuals. The bulk of the collection is from the last half of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century and contains published materials from dozens of implement manufacturing companies.
Lee Walther Kordus papers
This collection (1965-2010) contains biographical information, illustrations, reports, and a VEISHEA fashion show script. The illustrations include work Kordus did as a student at Iowa State in the class Textiles and Clothing 245, Design Elements and Principles. Examples of some of her advertisement illustrations for L.S. Ayres are also included in the collection.
Manuscript Leaves and Ephemera collection
The collection (circa 1470-circa 1901, undated) consists of individual manuscript leaves and ephemeral items. Included is an assortment of 15th through 17th century manuscript leaves. Ephemera includes items which were found inserted in books in the library's rare book collection.
