This collection (1967-1972, undated) consists primarily of minutes dealing with committees or subcommittees on which Mr. Gaudineer served. The only personal papers of Mr. Gaudineer to be found in the collection are those dealing with a challenge by the credentials committee of the Democratic National Convention. The most extensive papers deal with state budget and finance.

Abstract Thomas Cooper “Cooper” Evans (1924-2005) was a three-term Republican U.S. Representative (1981-1987) from Iowa’s third congressional district. He was also a farmer, engineer, and member of the military. Evans graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. (1949) in mechanical engineering and a M.S. (1955) in civil engineering.
