This collection (1909-1957) includes copies of the constitution and by-laws, correspondence, the Manual of the Overseer, membership records, dues accounts (in a role book), proceedings of annual sessions, a few rosters, and a 1925 Secretary's book. Some of the materials document other local Grange organizations such as the State Grange of Iowa and the Amboy (Newton, Iowa) Grange.

Established as a result of the Hatch Act of 1887, the Iowa Agriculture and Home Economics Experiment Station is the research arm of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University.
