This collection contains records and scrapbooks documenting different Auxiliary A.V.M.A. social events, current officers, and meeting throughout its duration at Iowa State University. It also has meeting minutes, records, and agendas for their meetings.

This collection (1994-2013) contains Iowa State band history, certificates, and awards.

Multiple scrapbooks from Kappa Kappa Psi including photos and correspondence documenting activities and chapter member events as well as the charter application process are also found in this collection.

Abstract

Mortar Board was started at Iowa State College in 1914 as a senior honor society for women. The National Mortar Board petition was granted in 1924, and installed in 1925. This collection contains correspondence, newsletter clippings, publications, membership information, photographs, scrapbooks and other files of the Iowa State chapter of Mortar Board.

Abstract The Chippewa Chapter of Tomahawk was organized in 1951 at Iowa State College (University). Tomahawk was an honorary organization dedicated to providing volunteer and service opportunities to sophomore residence hall students. The United Native American Student Association (UNASA) charged Tomahawk with discrimination in 1971 for perpetuating "racial overtones." The group was renamed the ISU Couriers in 1983.
