There are group photographs as well as photographs and slides from various field trips. The slides also contain images of different plant life observed on field trips. Most of the slides were created by George Knaphus, a professor of Botany at Iowa State and longtime advisor to the club.

Students at Iowa State University experienced their first riot in 1891 when tensions escalated between fraternity and non-affiliated students. The tensions continued through the 1920s and beyond, and the folders contain information on some of the riots and unrest at Iowa State University.
