The papers document the activities of Ercel Sherman Eppright as Head of the Department of Food and Nutrition, Assistant Dean of the College of Home Economics and Assistant Director of the Agricultural and Home Economics Experiment Station. It also includes the typed manuscript of "A Century of Home Economics at Iowa State University", and a bound copy of "Syllabus in Nutrition and Dietetics".

Iowa Local History collection
The collection (1857-2000, undated) contains resources on local Iowa history such as articles, books, brochures, oral histories, directories, memoirs, maps, and news clippings. The collection includes histories of churches, families, towns, and counties. In addition, there are also cookbooks and information regarding Iowa farming, industries, and railroads.
Ira Schroeder papers
The collection (1872-2007, undated) contains biographical information, correspondence, news clippings and articles, and research materials about the Campanile at Iowa State University. The collection also contains a scrapbook compiled by Schroeder of printed materials that used a depiction of the Iowa State campanile. These include extension bulletins, covers to Iowa State directories, stationery, athletics programs, and a variety of other materials that use a depiction of the campanile.
James L. Geddes papers
The collection (1878-2008) contains biographies, news clippings, and correspondence about General Geddes. The papers also include articles (1878-1879) written by General Geddes about horse training. The articles are from the College Quarterly (call number: S1 C59x), a journal produced by the Iowa Agricultural College (Iowa State University).
James V. Risser papers
The collection (1963-1983, undated) contains trial documents, copies of laws and regulations, correspondence, articles, news clippings, court documents and Risser's notes and rough drafts related to his Pulitzer Prize winning articles. Also included are some copies of the prize winning articles. Most of the collection consists of Risser's research materials of the grain inspection scandals, but also includes material from his research on farming and the environment.

This collection (1969-1977) contains biographical information, news clippings, and research publications of Sendlein while he was on staff at Iowa State University. Included in the reports is an assessment of the Nishnabotna Drainage Basin in southwestern Iowa and a final report on regulations for the placement of sanitary landfills in Iowa, a project supported by the Iowa State Water Resources Research Institute.
