Biography/Profile
Keith Ketcham (1925-2000) was born in Osceola, Iowa and attended Iowa State College where he studied electrical engineering, graduating in 1949 after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a staff member at WOI for his entire career, joining as a board engineer in 1949, later becoming transmitter engineer, assistant chief engineer, and in 1953 Chief engineer. He was named General Manager of WOI AM/FM/TV in 1983 following the death of previous GM Robert Mulhall. He retired in 1987 as President of ISU Broadcasting Corp. He married Phyllis Fulton in 1949, and died in Ames in 2000.
