Biography/Profile

The Entomological Society of America (ESA) was formed in 1889 and joined with The American Association of Economic Entomologists in 1953. The main goal of the ESA is to disseminate research and perspectives in entomology to meet the needs of scientists and researchers. The ESA has more than 6,400 members consisting of researchers, teachers, government officials, healthcare personnel, students, consultants, and casual entomologists. The Society publishes several journals annually to reach different demographics and meets annually to exchange new research in the form of papers, posters, symposia, and other methods.
