The American Association of Industrial Veterinarians (AAIV) was founded in 1954. Its membership consists of veterinarians employed in a professional capacity in industrial activities such as drug and chemical firms, livestock or poultry enterprises, or independent research. The AAIV holds workshops and publishes AAIV Highlights on a quarterly basis.
