This collection contains photographs and postcards of Iowa State College campus buildings and student life compiled by Arthur H. Pickford during his life. The collection also contains one audio cassette tape from his funeral in 2003.

Biographical / Historical
Arthur Harold Pickford, Jr. was born September 20, 1921 in Mason City, Iowa. He attended Iowa State College (University) starting 1939 and graduated with a B.S. (1943) in Mechanical Engineering.
Pickford worked as a Research Engineer for a tractor manufactoring company, and as a Mechanical Engineer for Caterpiller Tractor Co. in Illinois.
He was the son of Arthur H. Pickford, Sr. and Hermine Knapp Pickford, the daughter of Herman Knapp (Iowa State President 1926-1927).
Arthur Pickford died August 17, 2003 in Peoria, Illinois. He was married to Elsa Evans Pickford.
