Biography/Profile
George Wormley (1917-1998) was born on February 1, 1917. He grew up on a farm near Newton, Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Journalism (1950) from Iowa State College. George Wormley worked for the Farm Journal magazine from 1952 until the early 1980’s, when he retired having attained the rank of Associate Editor. He died December 12, 1998.
