Biography/Profile

The Achievement Fund was established in 1932 when the Alumni Association at Iowa State was reincorporated. The fund provided an avenue for alumni and friends of the University to support scholarships and a wide variety of projects through tax-deductible gifts to the University. In 1951, the Fund conducted its first annual campaign. The Iowa State University Achievement Fund merged with the Iowa State University Foundation in January 1980 to consolidate the fund raising activities of Iowa State University.
