Scope and Content
The collection (1957-1994) contains the 4-H record book of Nancy J. Wagner. The record book contains record books for 4-H projects, personal and club activities, Nancy’s 4-H stories, photographs of club and project activities, and newspaper clippings. The collection also contains the 4-H record book of Lyle Moem, Rash’s husband. The rest of the collection is training material for 4-H leaders and training material for each project area.

Biography/Profile
Nancy J. Rash was born on February 2, 1952 to Joseph and Patricia Rash of Union, Iowa. She joined 4-H in 1962 as a member of the Union Whitten Hustlers and then the Union Preppy Pals 4-H Club. She was a member until 1970. Rash graduated from Union-Whitten Community School in May of 1970. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics on February 23, 1974 from Iowa State University. In October 1982, Rash received a Master of Science in Education from University of Kansas.

Abstract
Nancy J. Rash was a member of the Union Whitten Hustlers and Union Preppy Pals 4-H Club from 1962-1970. Nancy was also a 4-H staff person, directing leaders and project training in Howard, Winneshiek, and Allamakee counties from 1983-1985. The collection (1957-1994) contains the 4-H record books with projects, club activities, photographs, as well as 4-H leader and project training material.
