Abstract Benjamin Gue, born on December 25, 1828, was a Lieutenant Governor (1866-1868) for Iowa. He was one of the authors of a bill to establish a state agricultural college and model farm (Iowa State University), which Governor Ralph P. Lowe signed into law on March 22, 1858.
