This collection (1961-1966) contains biographical information, correspondence, and research papers relating to the work of Carl Goebel. The correspondence is mostly from the time after Goebel worked at Iowa State regarding a manuscript that was being proof-read by Gordon Gatherum. The research materials focused on herbicides and rodent repellant and include written analysis, numerical data and photographs.
The collection (1984-2008) consists of biographical information, published articles, and research proposals relating to the career of Joe P. Colletti, Associate Professor in the Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management at Iowa State University. The papers and research proposals cover topics on agroforestry, riparian buffer strips, erosion control, and biomass energy systems.
This collection (1909-1999, undated) contains biographical information, correspondence, and published research articles. Many of the articles discuss forest fires and their effects on the surrounding ecology and the types of trees that could be found in the western United States. In addition, the papers include climatological research and tree growth data.
