In April 1964, Ink took a six-month leave from his AEC position to oversee the reconstruction of much of southern Alaska as the executive director of the Federal Reconstruction and Development Planning Commission for Alaska in the aftermath of a 9.2 magnitude earthquake that struck on March 27, 1964. This series documents Ink's role on the reconstruction commission and his continuing interest in the area and its recovery. The series is arranged in alphabetical order.
