Iowa Farm Land Value Survey, 1941-1984

Description of Material

This sub-group (1941-1984) contains survey sheets sent by the Iowa State University Department of Economics to Iowa realtors yearly from 1941 to 1984, with the exceptions of 1975 and 1980 when it was biannual. The survey tracked the value of high, middle, and low grade farmland, the number of sales, and cost per acre. The collection also contains comments from realtors, correspondence, news clippings about farmland value, and press releases.
